Top Tickets This Week: Fontaines D.C., Monster Jam, Embrace, Will Young

Fontaines D.C. have announced the Romance UK and Ireland Tour for this winter.  

The Dublin band will play the Halls in Wolverhampton, London's Alexandra Palace, Cardiff's Utilita arena, Plymouth Pavilions, Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena, Aviva Studios Warehouse in Manchester, Leeds' First Direct Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro and the 3Arena in Dublin between November 20 and December 6. Support on all dates will come from Sorry, with DIIV also appearing in London. Compare and buy tickets here.

The tour is in support of their new album, 'Romance', which is due for release on August 23. They recently teased it with the first single, Starburster. Listen here.


Monster Jam

Monster Jam will head to the UK this summer.

For the first time in five years, the live motorsport extravaganza will return to Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 6, following which it'll travel to London Stadium Olympic Park on July 13.

The line-up is currently set to feature Grave Digger® driven by Matt Cody, El Toro Loco® driven by TBD, Megalodon® driven by Charlie Pauken, Max D® driven by Blake Granger, The Amazing Spider-Man driven by Bernard Lyght, Black Panther driven by Bari Musawwir, Thor driven by Myranda Cozad, and Ironman driven by Brandon Arthur. Compare and buy tickets here.


Embrace

Embrace have announced a UK tour for the autumn. 

The British indie giants have lined up shows in Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham, Oxford, Bristol, Southampton, Brighton, Norwich, London and Birmingham between November 14 and 30. 

The trek will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2004 fourth studio album, 'Out Of Nothing', which debuted at number one on the UK Official Albums Chart, and went on to become the band's biggest selling album of their career to date. Compare and buy tickets here.

Will Young has announced the Light It Up Tour

The British vocalist has lined up 49 dates for the intimate run, which spans September, October and November. Each show will be an up close and personal evening of acoustic performances, stories and conversation. Compare and buy tickets here.

The tour takes its name from Young's upcoming ninth studio album, and his first since the 2021 covers LP 'Crying On The Bathroom Floor', which is due out on August 9.

  • Ezra Collective will tour the UK and Europe this autumn.
  • Ed Gamble has extended his Hot Diggity Dog Tour until later this year.
  • Brandi Carlile, Anna Calvi and Paris Paloma have joined the line-up for Stevie Nicks' BST Hyde Park show in London this summer.
  • The Cult have added a second London show to their 40th anniversary tour.
  • Vampire Weekend have added a fourth London show to the UK and European leg of their Only God Was Above Us Tour.
  • Ken Carson will bring The Chaos Tour to the UK in the autumn.
  • The Menzingers will celebrate 10 years of their fourth studio album, 'Rented World'. with two London shows in December.
  • Kygo will bring his world tour the UK and Ireland in December.
  • Aventura will take their Cerrando Ciclos Tour to London's O2 Arena in September.
  • Leftfield and Orbital are set to co-headline the inaugural Cardiff Music City Festival at the city's Utilita Arena on September 27.
  • The Four Tops and The Temptations Revue will team up for co-headline shows in the UK later this year.
  • Frank Turner has announced a UK tour for the summer.
  • Jason Manford has announced a run of work in progress shows, and new dates for his A Manford All Seasons Tour.
  • Ant Middleton has announced a new live tour of the UK for the autumn.
  • Dude Perfect, one of the most popular American sports channels on YouTube, will bring its Panda-Monium World Tour to the UK and Europe later this year.
  • All Things Orchestral will open the BST Hyde Park concert series on June 28.
